For confident driving in any conditions, Electrified GV70's unique e-Terrain mode uses artificial intelligence to "read" the driving surface in real time and deliver the appropriate grip. You can also manually choose from SNOW, MUD, and SAND modes.
i-Pedal & Smart Regenerative Braking 2.0
When the vehicle slows down, the regenerative braking system converts kinetic energy into electrical energy, recharging the battery. i-Pedal uses this to slow the car; you decelerate just by taking your foot off the accelerator rather than using your brakes.
Boost Mode
Perfect for overtaking, boost mode gives a 10-second burst of maximum performance, taking you from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. Press the boost button with your right thumb and fully depress the accelerator pedal to unlock full power, torque and acceleration.

Smart Cruise Control with Machine Learning (SCC-ML)
The logic system "learns" how you drive; the distance you drive from the car in front and reaction time. When cruise control is used, it drives the same way.
Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist (RCCA)
RCCA warns the driver of approaching traffic from the left and right sides of the vehicle when reversing. Even after the warning, if necessary, it applies emergency braking to prevent a collision. The system detects potential collisions with pedestrians, or other objects in your path, such as vehicles on the left or right at an intersection. If a risk of collision persists, the system can automatically assist with braking or steering to help mitigate the impact.

Leading the charge
The new 84kWh battery increases capacity by 8% for a range of 297 miles.*** With 400V and 800V ultra-fast charging architecture it takes just 19 minutes to charge from 10%-80%.
Electrically-operated Charging Door
For ease of use the charging port now opens and closes electrically. It can be opened from inside and outside, is heated to avoid freezing shut, and the socket itself is illuminated to help plug in when it's dark. The charging status indicator has also been updated to make it even easier to read.
Battery Conditioning System
The battery conditioning system monitors and adjusts the battery temperature to ensure optimal conditions for fast charging. It activates automatically when a fast-charging station is set as a destination or waypoint, and can also now be manually activated for better charging performance.
Outdoor vehicle-to-load
The vehicle-to-load facility is accessed via the charging port on the front grille. It supplies 3,7 kW power to charge other electric vehicles.
